My name is Julia Dover and I am a freelance content creator and mixed media artist from Sydney, Australia.
With over 25 years experience as a self-taught mixed media artist, I also have over 6 years of freelance social media marketing and management experience.
I have a large following on social media, Instagram being the most prevalent with over 48k.
Many of my videos have featured art on media platforms such as UNILAD, 9gag, YouTube, Snapchat, Met Daan- all having millions of followers.
As well as The Tamron Hall Show- American actress and producer.
Through my socials. I reveal new products, produce tutorials, give feedback, demonstrate products, as well as create DIY/tutorial videos.
I have featured in The Hills Shire Times, Stell magazine, Threestrays and ARTIT.
In the past I have worked independently creating content with multinational companies such as Superga, Chroma ink, Art Spectrum, Derivan Matisse, Staedtler, Speedball Art, Canson, Microsoft and Singer.
My wire and Swarovski sculptures have come 2nd and 5th nationwide in 2 consecutive years with Creative Beading.
I have artwork displayed at the SAN hospital along with paintings that are currently showcased with Art Lovers Australia and Bluethumb.
I have had the pleasure of being invited to an intimate group viewing of the finalists in the Archibald Prize 2023 at the Art Gallery of NSW.
Along with this opportunity I have also been invited to the private viewing of The Artworks of Vincent Van Gogh.

This month I entered the Archibald Prize at The Art Gallery of NSW.

"THE ONE YOU FEED"
The artwork is an expression of our conflicting thoughts.
Our thoughts representing two wolves constantly fighting each other.
Our positive and the negative thoughts.
The wolf you choose to feed is the wolf that will dominate your life and decisions.
Suffering from anxiety, bipolar, BPD, PTSD this is a constant battle I suffer on a daily basis.

ARTWORK
Being a mixed media artist means every medium I come across is an opportunity to create. I love discovering new ways of bringing my visions to life. Nature and emotion are my biggest inspirations and this is seen within my art.

I've had the pleasure of working with the brand Superga, recreating their latest campaign with Hailey Bieber.
I have also had the opportunity to paint alongside the very talented Mulga the Artist.
I am the first Australian ambassador for

MEDIA
In 2023 I was a finalist for my wire sculpture "Her Resilience"
My work was part of an outdoor instillation at Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden.
I have featured in The Hills Shire Times, Stell magazine, Threestrays and ARTIT
I have placed 2nd and 5th with my wire Swarovski sculptures in the magazine Creative Beading.
In 2018 I had the opportunity to paint alongside Mulga the Artist at Flugtag.

BEHIND THE SCENES
Working on a wire sculpture
